About Steve, aka. the photographer.
Hi, I'm Steve,
Husband to my beautiful wife Elaine, Firefighter and Photographer. Born in Melbourne, lived in Hong Kong and Germany, but now living in Sydney, NSW. I have two of the best jobs in the world, when I'mm on shift I get to hang out with my friends at the fire station, and days off I get to photograph and witness people having one of the happiest days of their lives.
As a kid, ironically I hated photos being taken of me and avoided the camera. So, I know how you feel if you are in the same boat. Despite this, I found myself at a later age playing with old disposable cameras and loved being behind the viewfinder.
My approach to photography.
Photography for people who don't like posing for pictures through a hybrid of digital and analog / film format.
My photos may not be meaningful for the passing viewer, nor may it win awards for the most technically perfect and pretty picture, however, it will be unique to you, organic, not generic, honest, spontaneous, and photographed with you in mind.
All the hugs, tears, kisses, smiles, laughter, banter, kids up trees, friends in hedges, everything that is important to you - they're your memories and all part of your wedding story, exactly how it happened.
